
Dahlia heads the IFC’s E4E Initiative for Arab Youth. Prior to that, she was the advisor to the Global Indicators and Analysis Department of the World Bank Group, which produces data and benchmarking products including the Doing Business and the Enterprise Surveys datasets. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Dahlia established and managed financial services companies providing brokerage, corporate finance, private equity investing, management consulting, and technical assistance services primarily in the Middle East and Africa. She has worked extensively with nonprofit organizations, founded Egypt’s International Economic Forum, and served as Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt. Dahlia holds a BA and an MA in Economics from the American University in Cairo, an MA in international law from Georgetown University, and a Ph.D in Government from Georgetown University.
